You lost me here. A vegan would too compare well-made salad released this year with steak from whatever animal sacrificed same year, but the comparison wouldn't do any service to corpse-eaters 😜 Actually, the right way is still to compare within genres like you compare within discipline, specialty, profession etc. So, cars get compared across all cars and regardless of years too, but not across all vehicles as some prefer to walk (that would mean 0 vehicle), ride a bike, take the bus and some really don't have the dough for a helicopter🤷‍♂️ It only helps comparing car to car and car to car from previous generations. In the job market, the HR managers don't put people into positions based on their release date from school/college😜, disregarding their skills and specialization.

Great album, nothing better than a band serving exactly what you expect them to bring!

The title track is a very catchy introduction to the album.

What I find intriguing are the vocals which remind me a bit of French variety vocals, like Renaud, especially in "Ein Langer Weg".

"In Einem Anderen Leben" is probably my favourite track, very good solo.

Very decent album, we can´t ask for more. There are some amazing good and emotive songs that makes this album great
