Nice tech-death that doesn't sound like musical masturbation. Riffs are tasty, drums are top-notch, vocals could be better but they do match the music perfectly.

Heavy Blog Is Heavy had this as the top pick of the last week's releases with the simple description: "Well, that's tech-death album of the year wrapped up then". The album is fine, but I'm not hearing anything remarkable in it to warrant that hype, so am curious what caused them to respond so favourably to it

I will usually give a listen to their album of the week, but if it’s Death Metal or any kind of -core I already know they are way overhyping it. They tend to really overestimate those genres over there.
