The guitar parts are so ace! I can't believe these guitarists got no recognition for it. One of the best records of the 80s in the heavy department. Doro's vocals are great but I think she overshadowed Warlock

Good album title -- is the material worth it though? Let's find out. If we do a little analyzing here, this is not a true metal record but rather at least half mainstream 80s rock besides heavy metal. I think the issue with Warlock is that they had an identity problem where they couldn't decide whether they are metal or mainstream music, and as the result they shot themselves in the leg and didn't succeed in either totally. The music is good of course, but I think some potential was wasted, I could see a better record with Doro on vocals, and I could see a better band if they went totally in heavy metal. I really enjoy the songs Speed Of Sound, "Vorwarts, All Right" that show the speed metal direction of Doro would take later as solo band.

This comment is unnecessarily too long, when I could put shortly that the mainstream inclinations hinder this record. So if this is True As Steel then what that makes me?: Jope of Beyond True Steele
