I was unsure if I should give it an 8 or 9 but then I thought to myself: I can't come up with many funeral doom albums that really deliver on being creepy. It's an overused word but with these guys it feels so real.I think it's the guitar tone specially with those lead melodies. It's an odd type of funeral doom for sure. It's not sad, nor punishing. Not even scary really. Just creepy... Unnerving.
Fine album. I'll definitely give it more listenings now that it's in my collection.
