Criminally underrated album. In my opinion the old school Van Halen sound was perfected here and taken as far as they possibly could, the rhythm guitar by Eddie is just beautiful and combined with his overall creativity with the instrument you can't get much better than this. Also, songs like "Mean Street" and "Dirty Movies" are some of the best they have ever produced in my opinion. I just love the funky bass lines on this album.

The only con I can think of are the banal and forgettable lyrics, which aren't in any way on par with the actual music. This is the most basic problem with most of the 80's glam bands.

You know the album is great when you're listening to the whole discography of the band on random mode and have to check the song names pretty much every time this gem pops up.
