Staff review by
Third chapter of the Algalord Chronicles created by the founding fathers of the Italian band, Luca Turilli (guitars) & Alex Staropoli (keyboards), this album takes the music of Rhapsody to a more stereotypical extent: fast music, with the same way of singing (especially in choruses), with less exclusively symphonic passages, with more guitars... closer to real power metal than before.

I haven't never understand which is the first album of the Emerald Sword saga, (I haven't understand even the saga) but still, this was awesome album. Thank you!

Probably my favourite. Love the title track.

Same, I even play that riff on my guitar sometimes. lol

A Nice Guy
Very enjoyable, great epic symphonies, alot of catchy riffs, and at a good pace throughout.
Lyrics are fun, obviously cheesy but that is expected. Some songs are great, such as the title song, some songs though are not so great. It's a very good album but it doesn't live up to Power Of The Dragonflame, or Symphony Of Enchanted Lands IMHO.

Damn I always had some prejudice against Rhapsody of Fire because I found their style and lyrics generic and a bit corny. Well this opinion hasn't changed with this album, but holy crap this album turned out to be awesome. Great musicianship, really did not expect it.
