Keyboards on this album were played by Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity), except the Transylvanian song "So Far Beyond..." and final parts of "Wings Of Sorrow" which were played by Jonas Hermansson.

The original title is "Wings of Sorrow" but people got confused since it has "Welcome My Last Chapter" on the cover, so it was reprinted the CD with the new title.

In 2010 the album was re-released in a deluxe-edition on "Temple Of Darkness Records"

Another band that releases only one album and disappears so soon. The problem is that when they release a good album, their disappearance is all the more tragic.

It's a classic for me. Every person who respects 90s melodic black scene should give it a try.

An overlooked Melodic Black Metal classic.

9.1/10 for me - All songs are fantastic, not a single weak one. If I had to pick a standout, it would probably have to be 'A Castle So Crystal Clear'.

(I think F3ynman2000 should check this one out next!)

Holy shit I forgot about this album for quite a long time. I'm usually not a fan of older black metal, but this album feels so ahead of its time. "A Castle So Crystal Clear" is just a phenomenal track.

This is a quality album, it's dark, folky, melodic, and has a wintery atmosphere. Their style reminds me of early Ulver and early Satyricon, with some Dissection inspired riffs.

I can understand way the drums would be irritating to some, they are a wee bit overbearing in the mix, and the sound slightly lacks in power, but for me they are tolerable. The riffs are great, they are both hypnotic and melodic, and work majestically alongside the atmospheric synth work. The vocals stand out most for me though, there is so much passion in them.

I feel like they are much less over-the-top in the remastered version, so that's probably why. Still fairly present, but better.

I will have to keep a look out for that remastered version, this album rules
