One of the prominent bands at the forefront of the Scandinavian glam metal scene, Crashdïet's third album Generation Wild is evidence of how and why they got to be in this position. The band's brand of hard-hitting rock born from glam metal is both heavy and melodic, and should appeal to casual fans of the genre and hardcore fans alike. Generation Wild is an album that pushes itself into your view and won't leave until it's finished.

If you excuse the pun, Crashdiet have got back on trakk with this release. After releasing the average Unattractive Revolution, Crashdiet parted ways with H Oliver Twisted, there 2nd vocalist after Dave Lepard commited suicide. The pressure was on to deliver an outstanding album, and for the most part, they delivered. Simon Cruz feels at home with the vocals, and the rest of the band are on top form. The album doesn't come close to Rest In Sleaze, but nonetheless is a pretty good sleaze romp.
