Boring songs and songwriting. It seems surreal to me that many bands could get away with releasing albums like this in the 80s and somehow could continue doing it for even more albums. While I think this is still a bit better than the following album it's nowhere near to something to write home about

There's some good AOR here but also some quite tedious tracks and when they try to go heavier it's just doesn't spark... for some reason I get a lot of Magnum vibes here and the singer also sounds at places as Bob Catley. Alright record.

Virgin Steele did a cover of Stay On Top on Age of Consent, now that's a weird choice of cover
