I can definitely see why Ronnie hired Vivian Campbell when he went solo. The singer of Sweet Savage sounds somewhat like a lesser copy of Dio, and Vivian does a great job here, for a NWOBHM single his playing is downright brilliant. Even the main riff of the first song sounds like something from early Dio albums. Maybe this stuff served as an inspiration?

Killing Time is another classic song, it's super catchy speed metal with even more killer riffs than the first song. It's amazing how these guys never got big, they were way above most bands and few years ahead of their time. If you listen to an extended version with the song "Eye of the Storm", it sounds just like early Metallica.
