Eh. I never expected anything good to come from this band but this EP appears to be pretty listenable tbh.

The chorus in Outnumbered strongly reminds me of something but I just can't place it.

Just as when some of us were children, in order to eat Mushrooms or Broccoli etc... we may have had to close our eyes, hold our noses, in order to eat and swallow. Take this approach and apply to this album, whatever it takes to forget the name of the band and their image... because this album is certainly worth listening to, and really works as a concept album. It's heavy, brutal, cheesy yes, but hey... it's damn good after all.

I actually grew to like the rest of the band's materials' too since then. Generic as fuck but fun to listen to.

Damn, this was such a fantastic release. Probably the best thing they ever did. That cover as well, gets the zombie vibe with zero zombies or gore. Power lines are the shit!

A metalcore band called The Devil Wears Prada with a record called Zombie and it's got a high score from quite a few people. Waht.

The artwork is nice though. I have a major boner for telegraph / communication pylon things.

Yeah that power grids/telegraph lines are just so representative of something urban. Love how detailed those are in an anime like Evangelion. Makes it so realistic and captivating to look at.

Zombie was a massive surprise to practically everyone when it came out. This was a scenecore band who thought titles like "HTML Rulez D00d" and "I Hate Buffering" were good ideas, now wanting to do a serious concept EP about zombies. Everyone thought that was a massive joke in of itself right up until the release ended up actually being really good. TDWP can be easily divided into Pre-Zombie generic scenecore and post-Zombie metalcore/post-hardcore. If the very thought of -core disgusts you then they won't change your mind but if not then it's one of the most solid metalcore releases ever.

And the EP itself has a lot more balls than you would expect. "Outnumbered" is seriously vicious.
