Exactly, for how long are we, fans, going to grieve the departure of Hupogrammos and Sol Faur, extol Dordeduh and heap scorn upon Negură Bunget? Shouldn't we just succumb to the rift, embrace the lineup shift and thank our lucky stars for having now, not only one, but two unique atmospheric black metal virtuosos? Why can't we acknowledge that the reason their follow-ups pale in comparison to Om has nothing to do with the falling-out or the lineup change and it could simply be because the latter is nothing short of a matchless masterpiece? Isn't it maybe time to start giving Negru the recognition he truly deserves for keeping the "original" Negură Bunget sound alive through Măiestrit, Vîrstele Pămîntului and now Poartă De Dincolo?

actually more like one album in 2010. The other one was a rerecording and rearranged one of an older album.

Fuck, fuck, FUCK!! This is so mediocre! Generic guitar work, sucky production, vocals aren't bad but become annoying at times (too bad that Corb left the band), and nothing really stands out. "Hotar" is forgettable and overlong. "La Marginea Lumii" follows the same pattern but at least is slightly better. "Frig În Oase" is nice, maybe the darkest piece of ambient from the band, yeah... But also their longest. Half of the title-track simply sucks.

Overall, an avoidable handful of leftovers. I really hope their next album won't sound like this.

Negura Bunget is a joke. This band exists IN NAME ONLY. Hupogrammos and Sol Faur (now "Dordeduh") were responsible for creating the Negura Bunget sound. They left in 2010 leaving only the drummer. Since then Negru (drums) has hired musicians to impersonate the sound previously established by Sol Faur (Dordeduh) and Hupogrammos (Dordeduh) which in my opinion is abominable. "Verstele Pamintului" was a good album and I accepted the new guitarists Spin and Korb and the new vocalist Ageru as valid new musicians. At this time I accepted this incarnation of Negura Bunget as a legitimate band. Since then Spin and Korb were fired. They went on to form Syn Ze Sais Tre, who are fantastic. "Poarta De Dincolo" was then released after "Verstele.." with new guitarists;Urzit and Fulmineos. They managed to release a truly mediocre e.p. I have come to learn that in 2012 NB vocalist, Ageru has been fired and replaced by Stefan. There is no authenticity left in Negura Bunget. It's a group of musicians trying to carry on what was done with Negura Bungets greatest opus, "OM". If you want the real thing. Listen to "Dordeduh". "Dordeduh" creates music the current Negura Bunget line-up can not even dream of touching. "Dordeduh" are the true Romanian masters of black metal. "Negura Bunget" is a sham.
