Call me crazy or stupid, but I actually like this EP quite a bit. It's unfortunate that most of the black metal elements are gone, and they've done better in the past, but this is still a pretty solid, enjoyable, and chaotic release. Plus, as someone who lives in the Arizona desert and is sick of the dry heat, with snakes, scorpions, cacti, and all kinds of shit, I really enjoy the theme conveyed through the visuals, lyrics, and song titles.
