What Nails play is a nasty, dirty fusion of trimly and concisely played brutality?there's grind, some hardcore and some death metal in this thing, and nearly all of it fucking slays. It all fits and works well. As far as I can tell, there's not an ounce of anything that could be deemed fatty or unnecessary here. That's not to say that a little extravagance isn't something to be applauded, but that's not at all what Nails are about; everything they play is strictly to the point.

This came out today (North America), bought it along with Call Of The Void, two very nice Hardcore/Grind releases... Like Unsilent Death, this one's over in a blink but it's much more satisfying.

I think it's safe to say this album is rather insane. 17 minutes of purely heavy and scuzzy Hardcore Punk/Grindcore, with the odd variation (that medieval folk sound halfway through the album just threw me completely) here and there, but it's certainly got me hooked. It makes me think of a heavier and more diabolical Converge.

The grindcore album of the year.

You say so, because you haven't heard The Blind Hole by Dead In The Dirt which is fairly better

Holy shit, mindblowing footage.

Definitely some quality footage aside from the idiotic looking "hardcore dancing" in the background

Also, I workout to this album frequently, it's got so much energy packed into it. That footage has amazing sound.

I personally would be unhappy (to say the least) that bunch of rednecks came on my stage and wave their fucking paws :/ Nothing against hc dancing though.

This is classic grindcore, it's ridiculously short but incredibly heavy and ferocious, with some seriously aggressive songwriting, and crushing riffs, it's not as good as Unsilent Deathimo, but still solid stuff.
