Worth checking out really. Now I know why I was amnesiac about the album; it's not the most memorable of albums, not very repetitive songwriting like some of its peers in nwobhm and somewhat less mainstream sounding than the ones that got popular. The vocals being less melodic than what is usually found in bands of this particular genre most likely also made these songs less accessible to larger audiences, aka doomed the band to underground. I'd say it's tier 2 heavy metal but highly enjoyable as such. It is 38 minutes well spent

I don't know if it's the summer weather and vacation time but this one hits just the right spot. Straight to the point heavy metal with great singer, sweet guitars and a PERFECT production. Think Dio, Savatage, Dokken, Iron Maiden all in one. Typical all killer no filler record. Kind of confused how these guys didn't make it big.

The vocals are pretty poor for me, ruin the whole thing.

The sophomore is a bit better if you ask me.

I've heard some other also said the same, don't agree with it though. Love the vocals, reminds me of Blackie Lawless.

I also prefer the second album. Slightly.

I like Blackie, much better than this vocalist IMO.
