Sweden's long running Meadows End manage a considerable feat for melodic death metal with their latest album The Sufferwell, their second full-length effort. It manages to fit symphony to death metal in such a way that it never comes across as grandiose or oversaturated. It's a well written exercise in powerfully swelling melodies.

i don't understand the loiw rating

IMHO this album is excellent, it's more powerful then earlier albums, the vocals are really good, and the combination of symphony and death metal just adds to the style.
Also what i like a lot about this album is the variation between songs, as its fatiguing when all songs sound all to similar isn't ?
The song "Under a Canopy of Stars" not only is beautiful, but somewhat serves as an interlude, like a short while to take a breath and then keep pounding the ears mercilessly after it, Funeral of a Porcelain Doll is another song that stands out.
