Have you ever wondered what it would sound like if Anaal Nathrakh were a bit more like Devin Townsend? Well, you have now.

I dig it. I see some parallels to In Times with the fusion of rock elements and take on progression. Very thick sound and tons of melody. It's not quite a slam dunk, but one of the better releases I have heard this year so far. Full review here, but I'll admit you won't get much more out of it than what Steel already said.

Yeah that phrase can be used on creepier contexts than I originally planned.
Especially when you keep deleting your posts so that it seems like I'm talking to myself like a skank bum on the midnight.

Really loving this album. I think the Townsend comparison is fairly appropriate. Some cool melodies on here, tracks that are nicely layered, and that last song... brilliant. Definitely my favorite off the album, with Dead Mountain closely behind. Just some really great music.

Wanted to tidy up here a little, plus it was funnier this way. All part of my evil plan to put you in a padded room.

I was thinking "Well, that reminds me a lot of Neurotech in terms of style and production". Well, it appeared it's been produced by Wulf :3

Just when I was tossing back and forth on whether I was gonna listen to this, you go and say that. Now I have to check this out.

Wonderful production which brings out the emotive/stylistic variation in the music. A really solid album in truth, but the lack of melodic inspiration sets it back.

Wow, this album is really great. I can definitely see the Devin Townsend/SYL comparions in the first couple of songs, which are really strong openers, but the best song is probably the closer, which has that sadness-tinged yet euphoric atmosphere that so many atmos-black/blackgaze bands aim for, and which sticks with one main idea throughout without ever overrunning its lifespan. Serious competition for Enslaved and A Forest Of Stars as far as top album of Q1 2015 goes.

Lol, there I thought I was being really "clever" for thinking it sounds a bit Devin Townsend-ish. Then realised that's essentially what everyone on this thread is talking about. Scrolled back up to the review then realised it's the first line of the review which I've read and commented upon. Self-facepalm moment >.>
