Ominous winds are blowing. The infernal deluge is coming. Any second now, the spitfire birds of iron and steel will come, drop incineration all over and then... No more fear, no more tears, no more pain. No more... Only an all-consuming light before the endless dark. The purifying conflagration of matter converted into energy will end our angst. Sweet, sweet oblivion. Locrian do not recoil from the thought of the world ending. They are welcoming it with open arms - celebrating the end and letting us join them in an inevitable orgy of nuclear fire and melting flesh.

Had no idea these guys were releasing new stuff. Return to Annihilation was fantastic, high hopes for this one.

It's a bit softer than the previous album, with more focus on atmosphere but also more focused songwriting I think. The large contrasts from the previous album are almost gone, everything flows coherently. Too early to say if it's better than Annihilation, though.

^ Yeah that is one hell of a tune. Wish it was longer though.

Good album, I liked it a fair amount. Still think Locrian are often a bit neutral for my tastes but there's some really nice, yet subtle (and not so subtle), synth to this which helps it push toward a certain mood not unlike something from a Prurient album.

Just discovered these guys. Really enjoying this album, although I wish there were more tracks like "The Future of Death." I like this band's sound. Cool stuff.

If you're looking for some new sounds, and of course not really beautiful sounds, a little melancholic, this is your album. enjoy it. . .
