Rare album, I often forget about this, but this is a masterclass of brilliant, neutral dissonance that works as an enjoyable piece of music. Shame the follow up wasn't as good, but this is still an achievement. Reminds me oddly of Enslaved's Isa, in that it refuses to take an emotionally relateable standpoint in its respective style, but just kicks ass regardless.

This is one of the most overlooked BM records ever.

The uniqueness of this album lays in the fact that it uses gradual shifting through the introduction of overlapping layers in a way that no other extreme metal album I know has ever done, and as such, it refuses to be just another DsO close.
I love every second of this and might end up 10ing it.

A contender for the best black metal record released in 2010s.
