Surprisingly good album, atmospheric, yet dynamic, engaging. I didn't expect to enjoy it so much TBH, black metal rarely clicks with me, but this time it really did.  
---- I thought the two primary purposes for the internet were cat memes and overreactions.

I already knew Farsot, but I didn't find their debut or Insects particularly exciting, so a random black metal die-hard could never have convinced me to give their lowest-rated album a chance. However, the recommendation of a person who has no deep affiliation with the genre in general is quite another thing... So yeah, this is really good and I'm especially taken with the drumming and the versatile vocals. If someone had told me Morean (Dark Fortress, Alkaloid) would stand in front of the mic, I would have believed it.
