So I guess this will be another shorter one? Or are the songs going to be ridiculously long?

According to Wikipedia, this one has a running time of 33:12. Song lengths in order are: 13:16, 2:13, 7:58, 9:45. Automata 1 was 35:13, so if you combine the two and treat as one album, that's over 1 hour of music.

Damn, I thought the second album would be longer as it makes no sense, splitting a less-than-80-minute long album into two...

and 33 mins? 4 tracks? That's an EP, bruh

The Proverbial Bellow is a hell of a song, but the rest is kind of "eh".

I'm glad I waited until this was released so I could listen to both Automata I and II together; I imagine either would've made for an underwhelming listen, but the two together deliver something approaching both the content and quality that I would expect from BTBAM. I don't think it's close to the level of their Colors-thru-Parallax II output, but with a couple of listens I could see it rivalling or exceeding Coma Ecliptic. Voice Of Trespass is probably the standout song from first listen

Agree with everything except that Coma Ecliptic part completely (I like that record). I listened to both of these separately when they came out and they really do feel on the underwhelming side.

Especially for this second part I just expected more. The first one was good, a little underwhelming except for Blot. And this doesn't even reach that caliber. Hope they'll be back to making full albums after this.
