As much as it can be fun and exciting to find bands that explore the spaces between established genres to come up with something original and fresh, there’s a lot of joy to be had with finding a genre album that nails the style.

This hits a really nice sweet spot between classic fast riff-heavy Gothenburg and melancholic Finnish melodeath; the likes of Shadows and Salvation sound really impressive on first listen

After an almost 10 year hiatus Destinity still sounds as good as always, i liked the new album a lot

This is a real surprise. First time listening to the band and it took me back to old days of Gothenburg bands flourishing. Generally all tracks are above average with a couple of standout tracks.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

The album cover for me personally is the album art of the year. Musically a really good album. Lots of good melancholic riffs.

I think I should now check all their backalogues. Very surprising to listen to them first time. The whole album is a sweet travel through Gothunberg. 'Reflections' is my favourite track.
