Good Black metal banger, whit some gothic touches here I lile it.

This band has a very interesting style, it's a combination of blackened gothic and heavy metal, lot's fun indeed. Plenty of cool riffs, some impressive leads, great tempo, decent songwriting, vocals are ok, and has a cool sound and structure. Not too much to complain about here tbh.

This album is really good butI don't listen any gothic stuff here... It sounds more like Midnight than Unto Others for example

Even though I was in awe with their previous release, the new album left me stunned. The direction this band is taking here is definetly diffrent, but the songs all serve their own unique purpose. In recent months I found it really hard to discover a thoroughly compelling extreme metal album, but this is just great. Hats off!

Cloak put out a cool release, but it is definitely not a contender for top 20 albums of 2023 for me. It is not fresh and original, however it is executed very well for what it is. Maybe it would be more fitting for it to be in top 30. You can`t really miss with "Black Flame Eternal" but do not expect something exceptional that will leave you in awe especially if you are an experienced extreme metal listener like me! 8/10

I felt their last album was just a copy of any Tribulation album and I did not care much to evaluate it and rated it very low. But this album got more of my attention and I feel now there is a definite and distinct sound for this band. So I am correcting myself now. Maybe I should revisit their last one once again. This album is really good.

I think I liked their last album better than this one. This is a good melodic black metal album, no doubt, but nothing worth remembering.

I feel a Sentenced vibe as well...
