This album is almost the antithesis of everything that black metal was designed to be, and I love it for it.

I love artwork, its like me try get high enough close to travel to see midnight sun as this bard there looking into the sun when it never sets duting the summer, This band has cool artworks, I hope I will remember this in next awards.

Music is decent, it has symho, melo, atmo elements all BM supgenres what I love in one, how we can dislike such amazing music?

This album opened my eyes for atmospheric black metal.

I love all of Skyforest's previous releases but for some reason I didn't have much interest in A New Dawn until almost an entire year after it came out. I expected this to be a step down from Unity but now having gone through it a few times I think this is Bogdan Makarov's best work, though not by a wide margin.

The sound is mostly the same but this time there are a few different layers to the atmosphere. The most noticeable changes on A New Dawn are a focus on dynamics in the writing and an overall improvement in production. There's also a gentleness and attention to detail here that makes it utterly captivating. I felt like every song is a more thorough journey than most of Skyforest's previous songs.

I'm very glad that instead of stagnating this band's talent is continuing to grow in all directions, with a special mention to Michael Rumple's singing. He has really improved.
