Following a complaint of the American band Voodoo Moonshine, Trepalium has been forced to change the name of their EP. It is now called Damballa's Voodoo Doll instead of Voodoo Moonshine.

Sometimes bands just say they are going down different avenues, mentioning nothing about the new LP/EP's quality relative to the older ones. Nevertheless, I do think it's sort of remarkable if you claim your EP is going to be the best piece of work.

This is awesome, definitely their "swingiest" to date. Also probably my favourite, since I'm into that kind of thing  . And now I'm only dissapointed it's not a full album, just an EP, which means it's just too short.

Saw them live this Friday, and while the sound wasn't perfect - undermixed vocals, mostly - it didn't prevent me (or anyone) to enjoy the set. And obviously, the new songs are awsome live. Fact is, they new-found self-assurance in jazz matters showed also in the way they played thair older material... for the best!!
