I'd rather remember "Shit, that album was absolutely amazing! I need to play it again soon", although I can't necessarily sing a single riff because they are not simple or catchy enough.

I've never considered memorability in that sense a good thing myself actually. Songs that get stuck in your head are the worse. aka: The radio.

I guess it could be my attention span, I still find songs I wanna hear on repeat. I think part of it is there’s not as many good choruses or hooks that get stuck in my head that way from new stuff
