Hostis was founded in 2010, and its initial line up was composed of Srđan Mi?ović (vocals and programming) and Aleksandar Dragojević (bass guitar). At some point Milo? Klikovac took the role of guitarist and band has recorded their self titled LP which was released through Miner Recordings. Lyrical themes of Hostis are based on social issues , mostly against political and religious dogma and indoctrination and Media manipulation.

Recording of a full/length simply called Hostis was started in High Gain Studio in Podgorica, in autumn 2014 and it was finished in summer 2015. The whole album has 6 tracks of crushing thrash/death metal with occasional melodic parts. Most of the solos were recorded by Stefan Stani?ić, and album also features guest solos of Luka Milo?ević (Deadly Mosh, Istrulity) I Du?an Mlađenović(Alister), bands from Serbia.
