Misty Grey was formed in May/2011 in Madrid by Juan (guitar) and some other mates. In autumn that year Robin (bass) and Javi (drums) completed the band on a permanent basis and start rehearsing as a trio. They decided they would need a proper singer soon afterwards, so Noe "Malicia" enters Misty Grey in May/2012.

They recorded 2 demos and some live recordings, featured in their first CD called 'The Third Man' (released 2013). After their 1st album recordings, Malicia left the band to work abroad but she did all the vocals for the upcoming 1st album. Her substitute, Bea, gets into Misty Grey in October/2014. That first album (and 2nd CD) is released during 2015, entitled 'Grey Mist', through Out Of The Past Productions and Vertebrae Records Their 2nd effort was recorded in mid 2017 and would be released in December 2018, entitled 'Chapter II', entirely dedicated to Sir Alfred Hitchcock.

In June 2019 the band decided to look for another lead vocalist, as Bea left Madrid some months before to live in A Coruña. Ángel (ex Pimeä Metsä) enters Misty Grey, their first male lead singer at this point, in November 2019, making his first show with the band within a couple of rehearsals. Now Misty Grey are completing 7 brand new tracks hopefully to be recorded during 2020.
