Michael Sobygge started playing the guitar at 17, studying classical guitar at classical music academy at age 20. Main influences are Malmsteen, Dave Gilmour, Marty Friedman, Steve Vai. Melodic Meltdown as a band was created late 1995 - Søbygge released his first solo album "Melodic Meltdown" in 1997. Then went on to release two more albums: "No Words Needed" and " Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde".
