Biography
Engorge is an old school Death metal band coming from Utrecht, the Netherlands. The band was founded in 1995, and after the release of the first demo-cassette 'Struggle of Death' Engorge played numerous shows around the country. In 1999 the first full length 'Awaiting to Subside' was released through Skullcrusher Records, and later on '50 Megatons of Armoured Steel' in 2004. This was the first concept album Engorge did, '50 Megatons..' referring to German battleship the Bismark, WWII.
The last couple of years Engorge was put on hold, but in 2011 the band will return one last time to release their new concept album 'Their name Liveth Forevermore...', a remarkable and epic story about a British soldier during WWI, named Paul Travis Dunne.
