Biography

P.T.S.D. stands for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, an anxiety disorder that can occur after you have been through a traumatic event.

The band was formed in 2005 after the precedent experience with Voltage (an underground concept since 1994). This band had just recorded a self-produced album titled As The Fallin Rain. Soon the band adopted the moniker of P.T.S.D.

The band propose a melodic metal genre, generated by the union of many musical influences and different attitude of the combo. The musical spirit and the passion for all kinds of music generates this interesting union full of originality and a lot of interesting ideas. The Burepolom concept represents and shows the state of anxiety, discomfort, sadness and all that can explain and make more evident this indisposition. Burepolom is the first full-length offering from the band. It's formed by 10 tracks recorded at Castriota Studios over the course of 3 months. In April of the same year P.T.S.D. signed a deal with My Kingdom Music, thanks to the great interest shown by Francesco Palumbo, and in September the album was released worldwide.

In the meantime P.T.S.D. has captured the interest of the US director Richard Terrasi (Dark Vision Films) that proposed to the band the possibility to put 3 songs of the album ("Anyone", "Neurotted", "Still Love") as a soundtrack. The film, Am I Evil, won the best director premium in the United States Horror Festival.

In 2008 the band created a video for the song "Anyone" under the direction of Alessandro Castriota.
