Viraemia is a Modern Technical Death Metal band out of Phoenix, Arizona that theme their music on Pathology/Disease. Viraemia was created in early 2008 with the intent of pushing technical death metal to a new extreme.

In 2011, Tony Martinez unexpectedly left the band after experiencing personal issues, and the other members of the band are not aware of his whereabouts. After unsuccessfully searching for a new vocalist for over a year, Scott Plummer announced in late 2012 that Viraemia had split up.
