Under the autumnal solsticium, in the middle of the 2002 year is born Long Winter with the musical proposal in playing Folk/Black Metal for a few months the band was consisting of two beings creating, developing and bringing their ideas to the maturity within the previously proposed context, some times later around 1 year and a half is added to the band's line-up one more being bringing with him the actual band's musical and lyrical propose, the Funeral Doom Metal, the romantic tragic concept with diverse influences but keeping until the present age band's essential caracteristc which is communicated now as interludes into characteristic passages of Folk/Black Metal, heritage of yore, the music fundamented within the Funeral Doom Metal and massively influenced by classical and baroque music, raw and looming vocals, wistful big choirs, heavy guitars being lead gracefully by solemn and beautifully melancholic orchestrations occasionally plunging into dark waves of grief, pain and twilighten abysmal wreck and ruin.
In band's history there was lots and unstable line-ups, the band experienced some different names until reaching De Profvndis Clamati, culminating with the torn apart between the remanescent band's founders and mentors persisting only Kleber Fainer who takes the lead in work searching for new members and thus established line up as an excellent and respectable Brazilian Doom Metal band.
