Biography
Germany's Tyrant Eyes formed in the early '90s, but it wasn't until nearly a decade later that Alexander Reimund (vocals), Marcus Amend (guitar), Juergen Bormuth (keyboards), Michael Apple (bass), and Sascha Tilger (drums) recorded their Europe-only year 2000 debut, Book Of Souls.
A textbook example of aggressive, technically proficient teutonic power metal if ever there was one, it earned them the coveted support slot on a tour by British metal stalwarts Saxon, and was soon followed by the sophomore The Darkest Hour, released worldwide by Scarlet Records in January 2003.
