Biography
The Iluminato Project was created in 2010 by Pablo Ferreira as a symphonic metal project that would have its basis in the origins of 90′s gothic metal but with a fast and modern musical interpretation, a type of sound that would lead the listener into the varied ambiences from the doom metal to death metal style, through a journey guided by energetic waves of melody and sound.
The project has the female vocals of Liz Demier who gives multiple interpretations to the songs through romantic chants to dramatic lyric expression in contrast to the aggressive gutturals of Pablo Ferreira, giving a touch of Beauty and the Beast both in voice and in instrumental.
The first album Reflections Of Humanity has ten tracks, some featuring the dialogue of the movie Network as well as such classic characters as Howard Beale and Diana Christensen, invoking the listener to consider dramatic and philosophical questions about our world. The lyrics speak in a subjective tone and talk about polemical themes such as religion and spirituality, portraying the human being as a spiritual being that is questioning himself in the midst of the chaos of a modern society.
With the support of guitar riffs and grooves that manage to reflect the feelings of the stories told in each song, you will find a wide variety of sounds and ambiences in Iluminato's work that will guide you from enchanted ballads to aggressive and dark heavy metal riffs.
Beyond providing satisfaction, the main goal of this project is to disturb the listener, breaking the status quo about important themes as well as inviting the listener to rethink issues still obscure to most humankind and inherent to all human beings, such as: Who is God? What is love? What is the real purpose of existence?
Iluminato is then an invitation to sail on the seas of those obscured issues by the waves of a true and heavy symphonic metal!
