Established in the winter of 2000, the Austrians OUTRAGE felt from the start based in the traditional Death Metal and enriched these at their discretion with some rock, some old school heavy influences to support what they themselves as "Neckbreaking Death Metal", respectively. In addition to the 90 U.S. / Florida death metal heroes, there were also classic metal and rock legends AC / DC over to Sepultura Six Feet Under, of which one was affected. After the first demo CD "and deeper ..." in 2002, the band plowed diligently the so-called "boards mean the world" and in 2006 published the first studio album titled "Switch Off The Pain". It was followed by countless shows with bands like Obituary, Betzefer, Graveworm, as well as several festival appearances such as on the Kaltenbach Open Air, Hellraiser Open Air Summer Nights or at the Metal Camp '05, '07 and most recently in 2008

Over the years, manifested in the sound of OUTRAGE typical trademarks. Brutal Groove, murderous riffing and a flair for aggressive breakdowns run through the musical work. Fewer existing trends rather rather following the drive of its own, paired with the matching lyrics about melancholy, anger, frustration, and even social criticism roll over OUTRAGE has always been a steamroller equal to the listener. OUTRAGE do not occur to the coolest, hippest band in the world to order be, but to let their emotions run wild. Hatred of the daily life, social unrest, emotional hardships and the murder of the world as they experience it themselves every day
