01. The Fallen Beauty

Time stands still and the past fades away before my eyes
I see her standing before me, a glossy shine in my dark life
Her tender hand reaching out for me - I can't achieve no more
But now the presence meets me again and so I bury her on a hill
- a hill so high like the stars on the sky -

I inflame the everending fire
a tear breaks the light in my eyes
and I run..

But I can't run forever
time will always meet me again
again and again..

I remember her dying, dying in my arms
but I know I had no chance to prevent
My shout breaks the night and the stars seem no more to shine,
shine like the fire in her eyes.
Her long, black hair blowing in the wind - I never will forget
and her beautyfull eyes - shining like diamonds -
I will dream of eternaly.
I'll never be the same as I did and the rose will fade again..

I inflame the everending fire
a tear breaks the light of my eyes
and I run..

But I can't run forever
time will always meet me again
again and again..

02. Vengeance II

To the north, ride, ride son of wrath to the north
proudly bear your father's sword, proudly bear your crest
proudly hold your head up high and stand up to the test
of skill at arms and courage against despair
of noble spirits bound to rise against the force of tyranny

"For my father, for my grandfather, for all the noble ones you've slain
I swear this oath of vengeance, and vengeance be my name
For all the weak enslaved and shackeld by your cruel reign
I swear this oath of vengeance and vengeance be my name.."

Ride forth with hate in your heart
Ride to tear his kingdom apart
Not for glory and not out of pride
But for your father who so bravely died

And so he rode clad in furs with sword in hand
to the north, into the darkest land
where evil reigned to make his stand
his honour to defend

To the north, ride, ride son of wrath to the north
proudly bear your father's sword, proudly bear your crest
proudly hold your head up high and stand up to the test
of skill at arms and courage against despair
of noble spirits bound to rise against the force of tyranny

"For my father, for my grandfather, for all the noble ones you've slain
I swear this oath of vengeance, and vengeance be my name
For all the weak enslaved and shackeld by your cruel reign
I swear this oath of vengeance and vengeance be my name.."

03. The Wanderers House

and he still wanders on
from days long since gone
and he still wanders on

through the dark at the endless hills
through the grey mists of dawn
through the dreams of faded history
a sprit of ancient days is still travelling on......

Behold his face in the twillight hours
a story that's his to tell
of a word given blindly, and honor that binds
of a home long lost in the shades of time

distance forgotten, a dreamlike face
painted on the insides of his eyes
he who had stared into the eye of the cyclops
he who had conquered the fortress of dawn

once enthroned this king of the slain
now betrothed to the starlight above
a silent seeker adrift in the mists
the wanderer's specrte will never reach illeas......

and he still wanders on
from days long since gone
and he still wanders on

a dream that is not his own
leads him through times unknown
and he still wanders on

through the dark the ocean seems endless
navigator under the stars alone
leathery skin, his hair's been bleached by the sun
he who had been king in another life

"I might have had a son, but what was his name?
Have I laid with my wife, was she beautiful?
Did this weary head once wear a crown?

On my Island home, mountains so high
did they pierce the clouds overhead?
Who am I? Who is she? Why am I lost?

a sleepwalking mind in the arms of poseidon
forever lost on the dancing waves
longing for summer's days upon
the shores of distant illeas

as the ages come and go the wanderer does not return
and the silence still remains, the wanderer does not return
and she weaves, awaits her man, but the wanderer does not return

and he still wanders on
from days long since gone
and he still wanders on

and still he's lost alone
seeking the way back home
and he still wanders on

and he still wanders on
from days long since gone
and he still wanders on....

04. Man Of Iron

I have paced these forests for so long I don't know if I am man or I am beast.
I, though, hold deep within me a quest for revenge.
Then I must be a man as much as I can be.

I have learned to speak the tongue of the animal
I have learned to read the signs in bark and snow.
I have taken within myself the spirits of my fathers,
long time gone.
In this short time, far from home, a man of Iron I've grown.
A man of Iron I have grown.

A part of the Eternal Woods...
Late evening...
