I like CRJ, I don’t really like Call Me Maybe though cause summer of 2012 l was working at a youth camp and every week at karaoke I would hear 20 preteen girls give their rendition of it
I’m not talking about catchy like Call Me Maybe where it’s just annoying, but like Unison Life for example where I would have those guitar leads in my head and hum to them for weeks on end
I'd rather remember "Shit, that album was absolutely amazing! I need to play it again soon", although I can't necessarily sing a single riff because they are not simple or catchy enough.
I guess it could be my attention span, I still find songs I wanna hear on repeat. I think part of it is there’s not as many good choruses or hooks that get stuck in my head that way from new stuff
