After Blindead disbanded back in 2022, a couple of former members formed the new group named Blindead 23. The latter now announce the release of a new EP, Vanishing. The three-ice music effort will see its official release on the 27th of September.

Polish post-metallers recently announced and confirmed the departure of bassist Matteo Bassoli, who has been part of the group for the last four years and couple of months. The Polish prog/post-metallers announced that their fifth full-length will be called Ascension and also unveiled its cover artwork which was created by Bartek Rogalewicz (Behemoth, Antigama, Odraza). The Polish band Blindead can't seem to get a break when it comes to their singer position. They are searching for a new frontman once again. The post-metallers didn't say much about the departure of their most recent singer, Jan Galbas. In 2015, the band announced that Jan Galbas would be taking over vocal duties after Patryk Zwoliński left but that didn't last long.

Polish post-metallers Blindead are facing a tough time. Vocalist Patryk Zwoliński announced it himself, over the band's Facebook page, that he is no longer part of the group after 12 years. Being in the band since the very beginning, Patryk participated on all four studio albums: Devouring Weakness (2006), Autoscopia/Murder In Phazes (2008), Affliction XXIX II MXMVI (2010) and Absence (2013).

Polish masters Blindead announced that their upcoming fourth full-length album will be titled Absence. The CD release date is scheduled for October 2nd through Mystic Production. You can count on a few guest appearances: Jerzy Mazzoll on bass clarinet, Rafał Wawszkiewicz from Merkabah on sax, Daniel Sobiesiak on cello and Dorota Górawska on violin.
