Kuolemanlaakso - New EP Announced, Single Online

Finnish doom/death outfit Kuolemanlaakso announces the release of the three-song EP Kuolleiden Laulu on December 16 via Svart Records. The EP contains songs recorded during the same sessions of their LP Kuusumu which was released in March. Like the LP, it features Aleksi Munter (ex-Swallow The Sun) and Lotta Ruutiainen (Luna Kills) and was produced by V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress). In tandem with the announcement, the title track of the upcoming EP has been made available for streaming. Check it out below.

Kuolemanlaakso - To Release First Record In 8 Years

Finnish death doomsters Kuolemanlaakso have the release of their first full length instalment in 8 years. Dubbed Kuusumu, it will be out on March 4th 2022 via Svart Records. Kuolemanlaakso - Guitarist To Sit Out Show

Finnish death/doom metal group Kuolemanlaakso has announced that Kouta, real name Albert von Fleischer, will sit out their next gig, tonight, due to back injury. He will return at Ravintola Ottopoika, Kuopio, on Saturday. Kuolemanlaakso is set to end its long overdue live hiatus, and return on stage tonight.

Kuolemanlaakso - New Album Details And New Song

Svart Records has set a February 28th release date for Kuolemanlaakso Tulijoutsen ("The Fire Swan"), the Finnish death/doomsters' second album and their most ambitious work to date. The 50-minute magnum opus was inspired by the grandeur of the Finnish forests, serene eeriness of the lakes, and early 1900s poetry and folklore. The first song of Tulijoutsen to be revealed is "Tuonen Tähtivyö", which can be heard in its entirety below.

Kuolemanlaakso - Preparing New Album Release

First of all, happy new year! As for the news, Finnish group Kuolemanlaakso have released a message reflecting about what 2013 brought and what 2014 will bring.
