Stam1na - To Release New Album This Week
With a "slight" delay, but still... Finland's Stam1na will be releasing a brand new record this coming Friday (February 26th). Entitled Novus Ordo Mundi, this will be their ninth full length and will feature 10 tracks. You can listen to two of them down under.

Stam1na - Enter The Studio In September
Finnish metallers Stam1na will begin recording their fifth album in September. The producer of the yet-unnamed album will be Joe Barresi, who has previously worked with Tool, Apocalyptica, Queens Of The Stone Age. Stam1na's new album will be released in early 2012.
According to A Sakara Records press release, the idea for the collaboration between Joe Barresi and Stam1na was born more than a year ago, when Stam1na played at Tavastia Club in Helsinki, in February 2010, right after releasing their latest album, Viimeinen Atlantis. At that time Joe was recording the album of Apocalyptica, and Eicca Toppinen (Apocalyptica cellist) brought him to see Stam1na's show and introduced him to the band.

Finnish metallers Stam1na have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:
"Stam1na have entered Astia Studios in Lappeenranta Finland to start the recordings of their fourth full-length studio album, to be released during spring 2010. The working title for the new album is Viimeinen Atlantis.
The album will be produced by Miitri Aaltonen who've also produced the first two Stam1na albums.
The production plan states that the new album will have 25% more official band members, 54% more notes, 42% thicker sounds and 61,4% better song titles.
The studies also predict that the sexual life of the album listeners will increase by 38 percents during the first two weeks of listening the CD version of the upcoming album."

Finnish metallers Stam1na have issued the short following update on their MySpace blog:
"Stam1na is now five member band as keyboard player Emil Lähteenmäki was confirmed as an official band member in Jurassic Rock last friday. Emil has played all the keyboard parts for Stam1na's records and has been playing live with Stam1na since 2007."
