US melodic death/thrashers Battlecross have announced that they will join Killswitch Engage, Trivium and Miss May I on a run through the UK and Ireland. The tour will kick off in Dublin on January 29th, 2014. Battlecross will be performing in support of their latest product, War Of Will, released via Metal Blade Records on July 9th, this year. As hinted last month, progressive metal giants Dream Theater are touring North America later this year in support of the upcoming A Dramatic Turn of Events together with Roadrunner Records labelmates Trivium.

Said Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci: "We are all very pumped about the release of A Dramatic Turn of Events this September, as well as the world tour we'll embark upon in support of the album. ""Inception Of The End" is a song that has been with us since 2009," reveals lead vocalist/guitarist Matt Heafy. "For "Inception," we have been able to slowly craft it over the spanning demos and years to shape it into the song it is today. "Inception" was one of the first songs written for the album and like all the songs on In Waves, was a labor of love... and we're beyond excited about the final product."
