Turmion Kätilöt - Sign With Nuclear Blast, Announce New Album

Finland-based industrial metal bringers Turmion Kätilöt have inked a worldwide record deal with Nuclear Blast Records. The German label will release the group's upcoming full-length record, entitled Global Warning, due on April 17th, 2020. Cover art, which can be seen below, was once again designed by Herra Spektaakkeli (Tuomas Rytkönen).

Turmion Kätilöt - Postpone Album Release, Give Fanciful Explanations

Finnish industrial band Turmion Kätilöt have had their new album, Diskovibrator, delayed by two weeks. The album was originally going to be released on the 11th of September but has been postponed until the 25th. Reasons for the delay include colorful incidents such as the drummer's dog eating the hard drive and one of the vocalists losing his falsetto voice (Turmion Kätilöt in fact mostly use low-pitched, gruff vocals). The real reason, according to the band's official Facebook page, is that the main vocalist, MC Raaka Pee, "got his second (not a joke) set of twins" which delayed the album's finishing process.

"In Good Steam," meaning a wee bit tipsy) is an energetic track with twangy guitars, electronica and female choirs. Pain - To Support Turmion Kätilöt On Finnish Mini-Tour

The Swedes Pain have announced the Kidneys To The Limit 2012 mini-tour throughout Finland together with Finnish electro-crossover-metallers Turmion Kätilöt. The tour is scheduled for October this year and will happen right before Pain's European Into Darkness Tour together with Moonspell, Swallow The Sun and Lake Of Tears.
