Paradise Lost founding members Nick Holmes Greg Mackintosh have announced a new musical project called Host, named after their somewhat divisive 1999 album of the same name. The band have signed with Nuclear Blast Records and have announced their debut album entitled IX, due on the 24th February. Reunited Swedish thrashers Mezzrow have announced they have signed a deal with Fireflash Records, a new sublabel of Atomic Fire Records, and their first studio album since 1990's Then Came The Killing is expected to arrive in the spring of next year. The record was produced by Conny Welén, Ronnie Björnström and Magnus Söderman, while mixing and mastering were done by Ronnie Björnström.
