More details about Cruachan's upcoming album have been announced. The album which is entitled 'The Morrigan's Call' now has a set release date of the 17th November. The follow up to their 2004 album 'Pagan' will be their first with their new record company AFM Records.

Industrial Metal band Fear Factoy have announced the cancellation of their showing in New Zealand. The band was previously going to appear there on the 13th September as part of their Australia/New Zealand tour. The New Zealand portion is now cancelled however, and Fear Factory will only be appearing in Australia.

Here is Fear Factory's official statement about why they've cancelled: "Due to band's busy schedule, the New Zealand date is cancelled as the band, being on tour were unable to appear for visa processing".

Swedish Black Metal band Marduk have had to push back the release date for their upcoming DVD entitled 'Blood Puke Salvation'. The DVD was originally going to be released on the 4th September, but the date is now set to the 25th September. The DVD will contain over 90 minutes of live material filmed in Tilburg, Holland and in Antwerpen, Belgium during December 2004. It will also contain promo videos, interviews and more. A teaser clip for the upcoming DVD will be posted online soon.

The band have been working on the video for the last month or two, but now it's complete, and available for download. The song from the video comes from Satyricon's most recent album 'Now, Diabolical'. It was filmed in Oslo, Norway and directed by Håvard Arnstad.

Celtic Frost have "captured their innovative and dark art" in a new video clip for their new song 'A Dying God Coming Into Human Flesh'. The song comes from their thirteen year coming latest album 'Monotheist'. The "fascinatingly gloomy" video clip way directed by Swiss director Jessie Fischer (who is no relation to Celtic Frost vocallist/guitarist Thomas Gabriel Fischer). Hypocrisy guitarist Andreas Holma has decided to quit the band. His reason being that he isn't motivated to be a part of the band anymore and he isn't interested in touring. As well as that, he's said that he wants to concentrate on his own project.

Hypocrisy is getting ready for their 'Machines At War' tour of the USA and Canada with Fear Factory, Decapitated and Suffocation. The band has announced that Klas Ideberg from Darkane will be filling in for Holma on this tour.

French Gothic Metal band The Old Dead Tree have now gotten a replacement guitarist for Nicolas Chevrollier who left the band in May so he could take care of his family and newborn son. The band are happy to announce Gilles Moinet as new The Old Dead Tree guitarist. Gilles will make his on stage debut for The Old Dead Tree when the band play live on the 23rd September in Geneva (CH). He will then play in Lyon (FR) the next day.

Here is a comment by frontman Manuel Munoz: "Gilles has a deep sense of melody and brings the band new influences that foretell an even richer and more varied music than before. His will to come forward and his involvement in The Old Dead Tree give us the highest hopes regarding our forthcoming third album".

German Thrashers Destruction have announced that they will be releasing a 'Best Of' album in early 2007. The album will be called 'Best Of Classix'. Destruction will enter the studio this month to record the album. More information is to be announced soon.
