Chicago-based metallers Usurper returns with new studio album, to be entitled Lords Of The Permafrost. This will be the band's sixth full-length and first one after a 14 year hiatus, and will hit the stores on 22nd March, 2019 via Soulseller Records (CD, vinyl and in digital versions). Lords Of The Permafrost was recorded and produced between July and August 2018 at Electrical Audio, Chicago by the band and Taylor Hales and features a cover artwork by Juha Vuorma. Swedish epic doom metallers Sorcerer have some news to share. The band announce line-up change on bass player position, welcoming Justin Biggs to the ranks as a full-time member. Justin, who has already performed with the band in 2018, will be replacing Johnny Hagel. Additionally, Sorcerer also confirmed that they have started working on their third studio album, due out in 2020 via Metal Blade Records.

Greek black metal horde Acherontas have some exciting news to share. The band confirmed new upcoming tour dates, where they will perform in support of their latest effort, Faustian Ethos, released back in May, 2018. European tour (mainly central part) is scheduled to be executed in March, with support from Czech black metallers Inferno and Norwegians Djevelkult.
