System Shock recorded a video for their song 'Devil Wish', taken from the band's debut album 'Artic Inside'. Furthermore the band is planning a Scandinavian tour with some other Karmageddon Media acts. The band is also working on new material for their 2nd album, which will become a concept album based on a science fiction story, written by 2 bandmembers. Recordings are scheduled in the summer of 2005 in Tico Tico studio, Finland. Last but not least drummer George Kollias (also active in NIGHTFALL) has officially become the new drummer of NILE. As far as things look now he will still record the new System Shock album next year.

About Finnish Metal Expo
Metal is currently perhaps the fastest growing style of music and Finland one its leading countries. Metal is also a relatively young genre, which is just starting to find its shape and mold. This genre works with different principles, rules and methods than other, more conventional or mainstream genres. What makes metal unique and special, are the relationships between the artists, record labels and fans. The fanbase of no other genre consists of as many musicians and no other fans are as loyal when it comes to buying records and tickets for live shows. Metalheads appreciate what they are offered, so it is very rewarding to offer. The metal scene functions on its own.
This thriving and constantly growing scene is a very significant part of today's music industry but where does metal fit in to this industry? What can ordinary music exibitions and tradeshows offer to the metal industry and fans? The consensus seems to be, nothing. There, however, seems to be need for a uniting event, one that is done on metal's terms. Thus the idea for Finnish Metal Expo. Tradeshows within a genre such as this are not that common. In fact, not common at all. But then again, this is not the first time when metalheads already do something that others only think about while having their morning latte.
The first annual Finnish Metal Expo takes place at Kaapelitehdas, in Helsinki on the 28th and 29th of January 2005. Finnish Metal Expo, FME for short, gives the opportunity for businesses working within metal music to display their products and expertise, make new contacts, check out new talents and most important of all, get fresh impressions and ideas.
For the fan, FME gives an excellent chance to get an overview of the Finnish metal industry. One can hear the record labels' latest releases, see the hottest up-and-coming bands perform live, witness the latest technology from equipment manufacturers, get inspired by instrument clinics, see up-to-date merchandise, or perhaps get that crucial realization of what it takes to lift your own band to that "next level". Or maybe just get a bunch of good records and a t-shirt.
On Saturday the 29th of January, the finals of the demo-band contest Hilselinko take place. Five of the hottest unsigned Finnish metal bands play a 25 minute set each, before a jury that consists of notable professionals in Finnish metal industry. The winner gets to play a set atTuska Open Air Metal Festival 2005, plus assorted goodies, TBA.

Immolation - Titles of the new album announced
Long-running New York-based death metallers IMMOLATION have set "Harnessing Ruin" as the title of their new album, tentatively due late January 2005 via Listenable Records in Europe (Olympic Recordings in the U.S.). The album was recorded at Millbrook Sound Studios with Paul Orofino producing. A new video for the track "Dead to Me" is currently in the works and wil be shoot in the end of October in New York.
IMMOLATION will also announce a brand new website address shortly. 'Harnessing the Ruin' is coming out on LISTENABLE records (world except North America) in the end of January. The front cover artwork should be done again by Andreas Marschall.

Former SKID ROW-vocalist confirmed to play at BANG YOUR HEAD!!! 10th anniversary festival
The band-lineup of next year's installment of BANG YOUR HEAD!!! is gaining shape: former SKID ROW-vocalist Sebastian Bach was confirmed to play at the event set to take place in Germany at the Messegelände of Balingen on the 24th and 25th of June. Bach played this year's BANG YOUR HEAD as well: He was hired as substitute for WHITE LION as the reunion of the latter failed last minute. Bach turned out to the huge surprise act of the festival ans delivered an frenetically acclaimed live set with an high-energy performance of many SKID ROW-classics.
BANG YOUR HEAD!!! 2005 will be the 10th BANG YOUR HEAD!!! in a row and is therefore themed "The Best of ten Years". The celebrate this anniversary, the festival's organizers invited the most popular acts of all former events, among them prominent names like TWISTED SISTER and MOTÖRHEAD. Alongside 22 acts that have rocked the festival's stage before, another well-known very special guest will be invited.

Mastodon "Leviathan"
Relapse Records recording artists MASTODON have completed work on their highly anticipated new album, entitled Leviathan.

Mastodon "Leviathan"
Relapse Records recording artists MASTODON have completed work on their highly anticipated new album, entitled Leviathan.
The follow up to the band's heralded Remission album, Leviathan was recorded at both Robert Lang Studios (NIRVANA, BAD COMPANY, FOO FIGHTERS) and Litho Studios (DEFTONES, SOUNDGARDEN) in Seattle with producer Matt Bayles. Based in part on Herman Melville's classic novel Moby Dick, MASTODON's Leviathan is slated for an August 31st U.S. release date and a September 13th European release date via Relapse. The final track listing for Leviathan is "Blood & Thunder", "I Am Ahab", "Seabeast", "Iceland", "Iron Tusk", "Megalodon", "Naked Burn", "Aqua Dementia", "Hearts Alive" and "Joseph Merrick".

This is now officially confirmed !!! Previewing the release of their new album, WITHIN TEMPTATION will give a unique concert in Europe, on Monday November 8, in Paris, to the Bataclan!
This exceptional concert will be filmed and broadcasted live in several cinemas throughout Europe. For the occasion, the band will present a new and exclusive show, with grandiose production?.
You can already buy the tickets since today in all the habitual sell points (Fnac, Virgin, Carrefour, France Billet. ..).
Because of the special aspect of this concert, a number of tickets will be allocated to the French and international media and for sure, a lot of fans from all over Europe will come too. Don't forget that the capacity of the Bataclan will be reduced because of the installations of the movie cameras and equipment for the retransmission.
You must understand that this concert will be quickly sold out. Don't lose your time if you want to see the show!!!
For their upcoming tour, the band will play live in France (more than 10 shows for the country are already programmed?) and Europe only in February and March 2005?
Entitled "Silent Force", the new album of WITHIN TEMPTATION will be out on Tuesday 16 November, in three different formats: a limited edition luxury digibook with a DVD in bonus, a "normal" version , and a version without booklet with a really cool price?

Corven & Sorghal have decided to fired him for personnal reasons and they will continue their work as a duo. (Corven was playing drums at the beginning of the band).
NEHËMAH is searching for a session drummer for the future live shows of the band.
If you are free with a good musical level, you can contact Frank of Adipocere and send to him your candidature which will be passed to NEHËMAH.

The definite masters of pure, genuine and unhealthy death metal IMMOLATION are finally releasing their debut DVD on 20/09/04 after many various manufacturing delays.
IMMOLATION 's DVD is a very fan orientated product gathering several shows in support of their successful 2002 album 'Unholy cult'.
It features a show filmed in Amsterdam in the huge place of the ROCK HEINEKEN music hall in front of 3000 people, filmed with 7 cameras.
There's a lot of onstage footage so the viewer get to know how this armageddon gets conceived. 3 other bonus shows are included, more in a high quality sounding bootleg range : A raging gig in Paris where the audience goes totally beserk, songs from a show in Tilburg at the 013 concert hall in fornt of 2000 attendees also, and a very recent show filmed in Los Angeles at the Key Club where you can feel the crowd was definitely dedicated fans.

Dutch melodic Death/Thrash metal band DETONATION is currently working on the pre-production of their highly anticipated 2nd full length album. The follow up to last years' "An Epic Defiance" is due to be recorded in December this year at studio Excess, Rotterdam. 11 new songs have been created, to which singer/guitarplayer Koen Romeijn made the following statement; "expect nothing less than pure melodic Death/Thrash, in the vein of our debut album...but this time the songs are more intense, more technical and better structured than before! There's also more variation to be found among the songs, it's going to be a killer!"
No official album title has been revealed yet, but the following songs will appear on the new album:
-Beyond the Margin
-Chaos Banished
-Structural Deceit
-End of Sight-End of Fears
-Clinically Dead
-The Source to Delve
-Solitude Reflected
-Lost Euphoria Part III
-The Loss of Motion Control
-Into Sulfur I Descend
-The Discharge of Isolation
