Oomph! - Drops Details About New Album
German industrial metal band Oomph! have announced some details regarding their upcoming album. The album will be called XXV and will hit the stores the 31st of July. This new album will follow Des Wahnsinns Fette Beute. Good news for the fans of the band. The album has been produced by Oomph! and co-produced by Subway To Sally drummer Simon Michael.

Sólstafir - Announce European Tour With The Ocean And Mono
Icelandic post-metal band Sólstafir has announced an European tour together with the German sludge metal band The Ocean and the Japanese post-rock band Mono. The tour will take place in October/November. Check out the tour dates and venues below! Tickets can be bought right here. However, it would appear that drummer Guðmundur Óli Pálmason will not be joining the band as he released a statement today claiming he was forced out of the band. Australian progressive metallers Ne Obliviscaris has released their first video ever, and it is for the song "Painters Of The Tempest (Part II): Triptych Lux, Movement III: Curator", taken from their latest effort Citadel. Citadel won the award for "Best Extreme Progressive Metal Album" at Metal Storm Awards in 2014, and is ranked as number 7 on the Top 20 albums of 2014.

Mastodon - Guitarist Brent Hinds Kicked Out Of Grammys
Mastodon was nominated for the Grammy Awards, which took place on the 8th of February, for the category of "Best Metal Performance". They didn't win anything, Tenacious D won, but they did get some attention: Brann Dailor with his very recognizable attire, and Brent Hinds for his behavior. According to Benjamin Weinman, known from being the lead guitarist in The Dillinger Escape Plan and working with Brent Hinds in Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, he reportedly got "kicked out of the awards show cause he pored his bag all over the floor and undies and money and weed spilled everywhere and he wouldn't pick it up. "Sir you have to leave." "Why" "because you don't know how to behave!"

Ne Obliviscaris - Another New Song Released

Omnium Gatherum - Cancels Shows In Japan
Finnish melodic death metallers Omnium Gatherum have been forced to cancel the shows they were going to do in Japan due to a heavy breach in contract from the tour organizer and Metal Asia Agency. The band is devastated but promises that they will perform in Japan in the future.
