On October 19 To/Die/For have posted the following blog on their MySpace page:

"Today we will travel to Russia Moscow by train. We are on same train with Charon so... it´s gonna be blast and we do not know are we still alive after that trip. Anyway, this is our last confirmed show and we really do not know what will happen for us then?
We still do not have a new label, we haven´t recorded new demos yet etc...
So our future is wide open... maybe we will release sixth album someday maybe we don´t who knows? Now there is gonna be other projects going on... Joonas is recording next malpractice album and there will be other "side-projects"coming too... If we will get a new label which would be ready to do real work for us then we will continue. Otherwise we do not. So let´s put our future this way anything can happen."

"Now we are back in Finland and I noticed here is a lot of worried people and I got a lot of mails. Calm down please, we are not gonna kill To/Die/For. Now we just need a break and we are hunting some inspiration... something new into our little thing called To/Die/For.
"anything can happen" does not mean exactly we are gonna stop making music. But still situation is that we do not know what happens next, when we start make shows again, when next album will see a moonlight... all we know is that we love to make music, we love to travel and make shows. Russia (Moscow) was so great. Metal militia guys handled things as real promoters and finally we felt ok after all those fucking shit tours before in this year! Thank you Russia, thank you metal militia guys and especially our friends Charon! Rock!!!"

"We´re sad to inform that our long-time bass player for 10 years Janne Markkanen has decided to step aside from OG crew due to his lack of time and motivation for this type of music. There´s none bad blood between us and of course we wish him best of luck for whatever he is doing from now on.

Good news are that we have new fresh motivated blood in the crew as Eerik Purdon is our new bassist from now on and he´ll be looking after to create some demonic bottom pulse and groove to our noise. Eerik have been our good friend for some time and he also helped us and played bass on Omnium Gatherum's Summer Blast Fest Spain / Portugal -tour in June 2007 when Janne was unavailable to do the shows and the dude really showed his infernal talents and Omnium Gatherum attitude there! Eerik also plays in Crystal Blaze and he was acting session bassist in Amoral for their latest Finnish shows."

Janne's statement: "Thanks to everybody, Omnium Gatherum-dudes, other bands and fans for great times during these years. I really felt that it was time for me to step aside, and let someone with more enthusiasm to take my place. "For this very special release, Sweden's own Candlemass perform at a recent show filmed in Kolingsborg in their home country, as a celebration of 20 years of the band's doomination of the metal world. This set features guest appearances from members of acts such as Therion & Grand Magus, also including Michael Akerfeldt from Opeth who joins the band onstage for a storming rendition of 'At the Gallows End'; all contributing to a set-list spanning the band's career to date.

The show was used as a live unveiling of new member Robert Lowe (from Solitude Aeturnus) - replacement for departing vocalist Messiah Marcolin.
Fans flew in from all over Europe, even as far as Australia to catch this momentous occasion for a night of melodic/heavy doom metal.

Candlemass has built a very long and prosperous career since their classic album, 1986's 'Epicus Doomicus Metallicus' and are cited as great influences on current leaders of the doom metal genre such as Paradise Lost and My Dying Bride.

"Týr will go into Jacob Hansens Studio in December to record their fourth full-length album, due to be released by Napalm Records in April or May 2008.

Týr's preceeding two albums, "Ragnarok" and "Eric The Red", have been recorded at Jacob Hansens Studio. It is situated in Ribe on the Jutland peninsula in Denmark. Ribe is one of the oldes known large and organized viking settlements in Scandinavia, so it's only very fitting that Týr record their albums there.
The co-operation between Týr and Jacob Hansen have been most appreciated by all parts involved so the decision for Týr to continue recording at Jacob Hansens Studio was not a hard one."

Mullins is replaced full time by Paul "Wak" Jackson, who also assumed kit duties for Bal-Sagoth during their two most recent live shows. Paul is also the drummer for the bands Extreme Maggot Infestation and Decimation of Truth. Bal-Sagoth released their current and highly acclaimed album "The Chthonic Chronicles" in March 2006."
