Funeral doom metallers Wijlen Wij have updated on the band's current activities and divulged that they are working on a new album. The band also announced that bassist Stijn Van Cauter has decided to leave the band.

Wijlen Wij posted the following statements: "Our line-up has officially changed. Stijn has decided a while back not to be part of Wijlen Wij anymore. We are of course grateful for his past endeavours as part of Wijlen Wij. At this point in time, we are getting relatively close to select a fitting bass player for the upcoming album."

"Wijlen Wij is currently in the studio working on a new album, which is a good time to refresh the website. Major updates are done in the discography section, including adding details on the 4-way split Unveiling The Signs released in 2010 and reviews of the 2007 self-titled album. Some minor updates are done in the contact section."
